The foam rubber is placed on the cleaned bottom edge of the upright hard top / tonneau cover  glued on, previously trimmed a little at the ends.  Then the hard top / cargo area cover is carefully aligned on the upper edge of the vehicle cargo box and fixed using the existing aluminum clamps.
